Frequently asked questions
How do I earn?
Open the Earn tab and pick a task from one of our partners — a survey today, and partner offers (for example: try a game and reach a level) as we add more partners. Finish it honestly and the partner reports the completion to us. We never pay for ratings or reviews, and an install on its own is never rewarded — the partner has to confirm you actually used it.
Is the amount I see the amount I get?
Yes. The figure on a survey card is your reward, not the partner's gross payout. Nothing is deducted afterwards.
Why is my reward "pending" and not available yet?
A reward moves through three states, and the app always shows which one you are in:

The gap exists because partners settle on their own schedule — usually 1–5 months, depending on the partner (most invoice at month end and pay 30–105 days later). For most surveys in the app — our main survey partner pays us about 3½–4½ months after the month you earn in — expect about 4 months. We show an expected date on screen from the moment you earn. It is an estimate based on the partner's terms, not a guaranteed date.
How much do I need to cash out?
$5 minimum. Some gift cards have a higher minimum — the app shows it on each card. There is a $50 per day limit per account.
What can I cash out to?
It depends on your country. Options can include store gift cards, PayPal, a prepaid Visa and local payment methods — the app shows what is available where you live. Rewards are issued through Tremendous and delivered inside the app after you confirm a 6-digit code sent to your sign-in email.
Which countries is Bonusboy available in?

Is there a withdrawal fee?
Most options are free. Store gift cards and the prepaid Visa cost you exactly what you pick — nothing is deducted. PayPal carries a withdrawal fee of 5% or US$0.25, whichever is higher, which covers what our reward provider charges us to send money that way (we do not add a margin). Rewards priced in a local currency include an exchange-rate allowance of about 1–2.5% (it varies by currency) on top of the live rate, because the final charge happens when the reward is issued, not when you confirm. The app shows every line — amount you receive, fee, exchange allowance and total deducted — before you confirm, so there is never a surprise.
Why did my withdrawal come back with "the exchange rate changed"?
This can only happen with rewards priced in a local currency. Right before a reward is issued we re-check the live exchange rate. In the rare case that the rate moved more than the allowance included in your price, we do not issue the reward at a loss; instead the full amount goes back to your balance immediately and you can confirm again at the new price. Nothing is lost and no fee is charged for this.
How long does a withdrawal take?
Most withdrawals are approved automatically and the card code appears right after you enter the email code. Some are held for a manual check — typically 1–3 business days. You will see the status in the Wallet tab.
A survey did not credit me. What now?
Partners sometimes take a few hours to report a completion, so please wait a little first. If it still has not appeared, email support@bonusboy.com with:
- the email address on your Bonusboy account
- the partner (for example CPX Research) and roughly when you finished
- a screenshot of the completion screen if you have one
We can look up the partner's transaction record and correct it if the completion really was reported.
A game or app offer did not credit me. What now?
App offers take longer than surveys. The partner has to see that you reached the goal inside the app, and that can take up to 48 hours. Three things decide whether a step counts:
- Start from the offer inside Bonusboy. The link has to be opened from the app — installing the game from the store on your own does not count.
- Most offers only pay for a new install on that device. If the app was already installed, the offer usually cannot be credited.
- Reach the step exactly as it is listed. Each step and its reward are shown before you start.
If 48 hours have passed and a step you finished is still missing, email support@bonusboy.com with the offer name, which step you finished and roughly when.
My reward is missing. What now?
First check the Wallet tab: a reward that has left "available" is either withdrawn (it shows in your withdrawal history) or was reversed by the partner (see the next question). A reward that never appeared at all is covered by the question above. If neither explains it, email support@bonusboy.com with the date and the survey or offer name — every balance change is recorded, so we can trace exactly what happened.
Why was my reward removed?
Partners reverse completions they later judge to be invalid — contradictory answers, speeding through questions, or the same person answering twice. When a partner reverses a completion, the matching reward is removed from your balance.
How does inviting friends work?
Open the Me tab and share your invite code (or your link, bonusboy.com/r/your-code). When $2.00 of your friend's survey and offer rewards become available (withdrawable), you receive a $1.00 bonus. Their $1.00 first-mission bonus does not count toward the $2.00. Because rewards become available only after the partner pays us — about 4 months for most surveys — the invite bonus also arrives about that long after your friend earns. It is a one-time bonus per friend. Your friend enters your code in the Me tab within 7 days of signing up; if they installed through your link, the code is applied automatically. Self-invites and accounts on the same device or network do not qualify. On top of the one-time bonus, once 5 or more of your friends have started earning you also receive a share of what they earn — see the next question.
What is the friend earnings share?
A percentage of what your invited friends earn, paid to you from Bonusboy's part of the partner payment — nothing is taken from your friends. It unlocks in stages by the number of friends who have started earning: 5 friends → 1%, 10 → 2%, 20 → 3%, 30 → 4%, 50 → 5%. The higher stages count friends who have earned at least $2.00 themselves: 100 → 6%, 500 → 7%, 1,000 → 10%. Friends who only signed up do not count. For each friend, only rewards earned after their first $2.00 count (that first $2.00 is what funds the $1.00 friend bonus), and only surveys, offers and games count — not shopping cashback, bonuses or shares. A share is paid when the friend's reward becomes available, i.e. after the partner's deposit is confirmed, at the rate you hold at that moment. Stages only go up, and earlier rewards are not recalculated. Amounts under one cent carry over until they add up to a cent. If a friend's reward is reversed, the matching share is reversed too. Shares cannot be cashed out on their own: at least $2.00 of your balance must come from surveys or games you completed yourself. The stage table and conditions are shown in the app and may change; changes are announced in the app.
Can I cash out with only bonuses?
No. Before you can cash out, at least $2.00 of your rewards must come from surveys or games you completed yourself (rewards the partner has confirmed). The first-mission bonus and friend bonuses alone cannot be cashed out. Almost everyone meets this automatically on the way to the $5 minimum; the app only shows it if it applies to you.
Can I use more than one account?
No. One account per person and per device. Emulators, spoofed locations and duplicate accounts forfeit rewards.
How do I delete my account and data?
