Straight answers before you install
How much can I earn?
Most surveys pay from a few cents to about a dollar and take 2 to 30 minutes. Games pay for each milestone, and the larger ones take days or weeks of play. This is pocket money for spare time, not an income. Anyone who promises more is not being straight with you.
Why can't I cash out right away?
Because we pay you from what partners pay us, and they pay late: usually 1 to 5 months after you finish, about 4 months for most surveys. Until then your reward is listed as Checking or Confirmed with its expected date. The first-mission bonus goes into your balance at once, and you can cash out when $5 is withdrawable, with at least $2 from surveys or games you completed yourself.
Why do surveys end early, and why can a reward be cancelled?
A survey looks for a specific group of people. If your first answers show you are not in that group, it ends early and usually pays nothing. That is the most common result in paid surveys and it is not a penalty. A reward can also be cancelled later if the partner's quality check rejects the response. The app keeps a history of every survey you opened and explains each result.
Is it free? How does Bonusboy make money?
It is free. No card, no subscription, and nothing to buy. We earn only when a partner pays for a task you completed, and we keep a part of that payment. We leave out game goals that ask for a purchase. The last steps of big games can still take weeks of play, and some players pay inside a game to get there faster. We never require it.
What happens with my data?
The app asks for no location, contacts or camera permission. Your survey answers go to the research partner running that survey. What we keep, why, and how to delete your account are written out in the privacy policy.
