Bonusboy shows surveys from market-research companies. You answer questions about your habits and opinions, the research partner checks the answers, and you receive the reward printed on the card. This page explains the parts most apps leave out: how often surveys really finish, what they pay, and how long it takes before the money is yours.
Every survey starts with screening questions: age, country, job, household, products you use. The research company needs a specific group of people. If you are not in that group the survey ends early. This is called a screen-out, it is normal, and it is not your fault. A screen-out usually pays nothing. When a partner sends a small thank-you credit it appears in your history as "Screen-out credit".
The rate varies a lot by country and by partner, because quotas and prices differ. Each survey card shows an estimated pass rate ("2 in 10 get paid") calculated from our own members' results in your country, not from the partner's marketing number, so you can compare cards before you tap.
The list holds hundreds of surveys at a time, paying between $0.01 and $3.00, and most cards are under $0.50. Short surveys pay a few tens of cents and take a few minutes; long studies pay more and are screened more strictly. The amount on the card is what you receive; nothing is deducted afterwards. This is pocket money, not an income, and we never promise a daily amount.
| Step | What it means |
|---|---|
| Checking | The partner reported your completion and is still checking quality. It can be reversed. |
| Confirmed | The partner accepted the completion. |
| Withdrawable | The partner has paid Bonusboy for it. You can cash it out. |
Bonusboy only pays out money that partners have actually paid us. Survey partners pay on their own schedule: the month closes, an invoice goes out, and payment terms of 30 to 90 days follow. For CPX Research, the partner behind most of our surveys, that means a reward earned in September 2026 is expected to be withdrawable between 16 January and 16 February 2027. The partner also waits until our balance with them passes a minimum ($25 for CPX, $50 for TheoremReach and RapidoReach). The Wallet shows the expected date next to each reward once the minimum has been crossed.
Partners review completions after the fact and reverse the ones they judge low quality. Long, well-paid surveys are reviewed most strictly. Most reversals arrive within a few days, but a partner can cancel for roughly a month after the survey; once a reward is withdrawable it is final. A cancelled reward is never paid, and it stays visible in your history with the reason the partner gave.
Yes, when the app only pays after a research partner confirms your answers and tells you the real odds. The risk is not fraud but wasted time: most attempts end at screening and pay nothing. Bonusboy shows the pass rate on every card so you can choose short surveys first.
On Bonusboy the surveys on the list pay from $0.01 to $3.00, and most cards are under $0.50. Short surveys of a few minutes usually pay a few tens of cents; the amount on the card is what you receive.
After the survey partner pays Bonusboy, which is usually 2 to 5 months after the month in which you completed the survey. The Wallet shows the expected date next to each reward.
