Cash-out options in the United States from $5: what is available, fees and timing
Balances on Bonusboy are kept in US dollars in every country, and the payout options differ by country because our provider can only issue some products in some places. Here is exactly what a member in the United States can choose today.
What you can choose in the United States
At $5 of withdrawable balance you can choose more than 250 gift cards (140 of them available at exactly $5: Amazon.com, Target, The Home Depot, DoorDash, Domino's and many more), PayPal USA, a Virtual Visa and a physical Visa card. The app only lets you select products that can actually be issued; anything marked "coming soon" cannot be chosen, and we update this page the week that changes.

PayPal in the United States
PayPal USA pays in dollars with no conversion. The fee is 5% or $0.25, whichever is higher. Your PayPal e-mail must be the same as your Bonusboy sign-in e-mail; this cannot be changed to another address, which protects your balance if someone gets into your account. If your PayPal uses a different address, add your sign-in e-mail to that PayPal account.
Steps
- Open the Wallet tab when your withdrawable balance is $5 or more.
- Pick the product and amount. The fee, if any, is shown before you confirm.
- Enter the 6-digit code we e-mail to your sign-in address.
- Most withdrawals are approved automatically and the code or transfer appears within minutes. Withdrawals above $20 and any with unusual history are checked by a person, usually within 1 to 3 business days.
Daily limit: $50 per account.
Why "withdrawable" takes months
We only pay out what partners have actually paid us. Survey partners pay after month end plus 30 to 90 days, and only once their minimum is reached; game partners after month end plus 30 to 60 days. Rewards show as Confirmed with an expected date (or "waiting for partner" when the partner is below its minimum) until the deposit arrives; for a CPX Research survey completed in September 2026, for example, the expected date is between 16 January and 16 February 2027.
Taxes, in general terms
Reward income may be taxable in the United States. Bonusboy is a Korean company and does not issue Form 1099 or withhold anything; amounts are small, but keeping your own record is wise, and a tax professional can tell you what applies to you.

Rewards become withdrawable only after the partner pays Bonusboy, usually 1 to 5 months after the task. The Wallet shows the expected date next to each reward once the partner's minimum is reached.
