"When should I check for surveys?" is one of the most common support questions. There is no official schedule, because surveys are bought by thousands of companies and released when their projects start. But our members' results show patterns, and they differ by country.
We looked at when our members open surveys, converted to each member's local time zone.
| Country | Busiest hours (local) | Busiest days | Comment |
|---|---|---|---|
| United States | 2 pm to 3 pm, then 9 pm | Tuesday, Sunday | Completions also peak in the early afternoon |
| Brazil | 9 pm to 11 pm | Tuesday, Monday | Evening attempts dominate |
| India | 10 pm, then 2 pm | Saturday, Monday | Strong late-evening peak |
| Indonesia | 1 pm, then 8 pm | Tuesday, Wednesday | Spread evenly through the week |
| United Kingdom | 8 pm, noon | Tuesday, Sunday | Evening peak |
These are the hours when our members try, which partly reflects when people are free rather than when surveys appear. Still, surveys are released by companies during their business day, mostly in the United States and Europe, and quotas fill as the day goes on. Two practical conclusions follow.
Most members who try surveys on a given day make a few attempts, not dozens. Completions are rarer still, because most attempts end at screening; the pass rate on each card tells you how rare. Someone who opens ten surveys on a good day can expect one or two completions, not ten. We say this plainly because "unlimited surveys" in app store listings leads people to expect something the market does not provide.
There is no cap on Bonusboy. In practice most members make a few attempts on an active day, and completions are far fewer than attempts, because most attempts end at screening.
Partners only show surveys with open quotas for your country and profile. Early morning in your time zone, and weekends in some countries, tend to have fewer open studies.
Yes, if you allow notifications. Bonusboy sends at most one "surveys waiting" message a day, at 6 pm local time, and only to members who have been away.
